Madagascar is very famous of its different species of lemurs such ring-tailed lemurs or Maki or lemurs kata: one of the emblematic of the country, Hapalemur griseus: found in the rain forest of the east coast of Madagascar, Varecia varegata variegata: the second biggest lemur after indri indri, Eulemur fulvus fulvus:found in the rain forest in the east coast and also in the dry forest in west coast, Propithèque coquerel - Sifaka: found in dry forest of the west region and in the mid-west region of Madagascar and Indri indri, the biggest lemur found in Andasibe National park . At any short duration you stay in Antananarivo, You must see them through those following park: Andasibe park. lemurs park, Tsimbazaza park, and Vakona park. You do not only spot them, you can see them very close up and you can touch and even feed them with banana fruits. At Vakona private park, you will visit the lemur's Island where you can play with 3 species of lemurs. These lemurs will jump on your shoulders even on the top of your head to grab the banana fruits in your hands.

ITINERARY FOR THIS TOUR

Day 1: From abroad to Antsirabe via Antananarivo airport..( 165km, good road, 4 to 5 hours drive)

Highlights: Welcoming, picking up at the airport and then transfer to Antsirabe. Overnight at Le royal palace Hotel in Antsirabe, a 3 stars Hotel.

Day 2: Antsirabe to Ranomafana National Park. via Ambositra city( 250km, good road, 7 to 8 hours drive) Hotels: Gaspard Hotel or Grena Hotel

Highlights: The beautiful landscape throughout the middle south of Madagascar, Culture on Terrace, Visit at the talented paople on making woods carving in Ambositra, evening walk in Ranomafana NP, Overnight at Le Grenat Hotel in Ranomafana, a mid-range Hotel.

Day 3: Ranomafana NP to Ambalavao. ( 120km, good road, 2 to 3 hours )

Highlights: Trekking throughout the rainforest of Ranomafana NP to spot 3 species of lemurs in wild, transfer to Ambalavao, Visit to Anja Park to spot the troupe of ring-tailed lemur. Overnight at Zongo Hotel in Ambalavao, a mid-range Hotel

Day 4: Ambalavao to Antsirabe. Hotels ( 260km, good road, 6 to 7 hours drive)

Highlights: Drive back to Antsirabe, the same scenario like we had on Day 2. Overnight at Le royal palace Hotel in Antsirabe, a 3 stars Hotel.

Day 5: Antsirabe to Andasibe National Park. (230km, good road, 5 to 6 hours drive)

Highlights: Transfer to Andasibe National park, Visit at reptile park in Marozevo village. Overnight at Marie guest house in Andasibe, a mid-range Hotel

Day 6: Andasibe to Antananarivo. ( 145km, good road, 3 to 4 hours drive)

Highlights: Visit at Lemurs Island, visit at Andasibe National park, then drive back to Antananarivo. Overnight at A&C Hotel in Antananarivo, a 3 stars Hotel

Day 7: Antananarivo and flight back to abroad via artisanal market

Highlights: Shopping at artisanal market and then transfer to the airport.
