The motor boat is the means of transportation we use for this trip.
The tour allows you to discover at the same time the baobab avenue, lovers baobab and the Kirindy forest. There are more interesting visits that you will enjoy.

Along the Tsiribihina river, you will see a beautiful water fall, a very nice swimming pool, Two species of lemurs (Sifaka; a white lemur and Gidro a brown lemur), the pachypodium or a dwarf baobab, the large tobacco field and nice friendly people.

The tour by motor boat on Tsiribihina river is growing considerably since this last ten years. It competes with the traditional rowing boat as well.

The tour starts from Antananrivo and will end in Morondava

Day 1: From abroad to Antananarivo

Highlights: I welcome you at Arc en ciel Hotel upon your arrival in Miandrivazo. Introducing and breafing for our plan.

Day 2: From Antananarivo to Miandrivazo ( 380km, good road, 7 to 8 hours drive)

Highlights: Transfer to Miandrivazo. Tasting the foie gras in Behenjy village, visiting the artisanal markets along the National road 7, Visiting the almunium markets in Ambatolampy city, a short city tour in Antsirabe and the beautiful landscape trough the Bongolava montains from Antsirabe to Miandrivazo. O/N at Arc en ciel Hotel, a mid-range Hotel

Day 3: Miandrivazo ( Masiakampy village) to Nosy ampela (Waterfall)

Highlights: Transfer to Masiakampy where the boat ride starts, the waterfall and natural pool. O/N first camping on the beach under the tents

Day 4: Nosy ampela to Antsiraraka

Highlights: visiting the villages located on the rivers sides ( Begidro village and Berevo village, the tobacco plantation, birds species, 2 species of lemurs, the baobab forests on the river side. O/N second camping on the beach under the tents

Day 5: Antsiraraka to Morondava via kirindy forest

Highlights: Kirindy forest natural reserve, the famous avenue of baobab, the sacred baobab, and the baobab in love. O/N at Baobab cafe in Morondava, a 3 stars Hotel

Day 6: Relax in Morondava

Highlights: sailing boat ride and visit to a fisher village and Mangrove.

Day 7: Morondava to Antananarivo by domestic flight

Highlights: Transfer to the airport and flight to Antananarivo
